JOB PURPOSE: Under the direct supervision of AMAN Programme Manager, the Social Protection Operations Officer will support the Ministry of Social Affairs (MoSA) in aligning the different cash programme of MoSA. The role will ensure coherence, complementarity, and synergy across AMAN, NDA, and SRSN. Strong leadership, analytical, and coordination skills are essential for this role, alongside excellent communication and negotiation abilities to build consensus and drive multi-stakeholder engagement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (not all-inclusive, nor exhaustive): Within delegated authority and under the direct supervision of AMAN Programmme Manager, the Social Protection Operations Officer will be responsible for the following duties:
STANDARD MINIMUM ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Advanced University degree in Social Policy, Public Administration, Development Studies, Economics, Social Sciences or other field relevant to international development assistance, or First University Degree with additional years of related work experience and/or trainings/courses. Experience: At least seven (7) years of post-graduate professional experience (after completion of Advanced University degree) in social protection, policy development, or programme coordination, with proven expertise in multi-sectoral integration and strategic planning. At least nine (9) years or more of similar experience after completion of a First University degree. Language: Fluency in both oral and written communication in English and Arabic. Knowledge of French language is an added advantage.
