1. Background Lebanon’s national immunization program aims to ensure protection against vaccine-preventable diseases, especially among high-risk populations entering the country. Border entry points serve as critical public health control locations where timely vaccination, screening, and referral can significantly reduce the risk of disease importation, outbreaks, and transmission. To strengthen routine immunization and outbreak preparedness, vaccinators will be deployed to border sites to support immunization services, record keeping, and coordination with local EPI structures. 2. Objective of the Position The Border Vaccinator will provide immunization services to eligible individuals entering Lebanon, ensure compliance with national immunization protocols, maintain accurate vaccination records, and support cold chain and vaccine stock management at border locations. 3. Minimum Qualifications Required: |
Nursing degree and Valid license from the Lebanese Order of Nurses |

Years of Experience required: |
· Minimum 1–2 years of experience in vaccination, PHC service delivery, and data entry. |

Knowledge/Expertise/Skills required: |
· Experience in vaccination, PHC service delivery, and data entry · Experience working with MoPH or EPI programs is an asset. · Knowledge of cold chain and vaccine logistics preferred. · Strong interpersonal communication. · Ability to work in high-traffic, stressful, or emergency settings. · Excellent record-keeping and attention to detail. · Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards. · Teamwork and coordination with multiple actors. · Flexibility for shift work, weekends, or rotation between border points. |

Vaccination Service Delivery |
· Provide routine vaccination for eligible individuals at designated border crossing points throughout the year. · Conduct daily screening for vaccination eligibility (based on age, vaccination records, and epidemiological risk). · Follow IPC procedures during all service delivery operations.

Data Management and Reporting |
· Maintain accurate vaccination records using MoPH-approved tools (MERA). · Conduct regular data entry, verification, and timely submission of reports.

Vaccine and Cold Chain Management |
· Monitor vaccine stock availability and track consumption across all border points. · Maintain cold chain integrity using temperature monitoring devices (RTMDs/data loggers). · Segregate and dispose of immunization waste according to national protocols. |

Surveillance and any unexpected medical event (AEFI) Follow-Up |
· Monitor adverse events following immunization (AEFI) at border points. · Coordinate reporting through MoPH surveillance channels.
